Ok, commit number four. First i’ll gave a overview about the current development steps and state. I have used the last days with many hours of working on some cool features and routine bugfixing. After that (ok, ok – currently we still have a building lot … ) we have some cool and usefull new features.This features includes a basic newsletter function and a usefull feature to have more control about a website using toendaCMS.
Start with the newsletter basics:
Some users wanted a function to unsubscribe from the newsletter list by sending a email with a “NO NEWSLETTER PLEASE” tag inside. And now we have this posibility. I have developed a automatically and a button-press way to check your mailserver for this mails. You can enable and disable the automatically function.
As a pretty side-effect i have now a base for the email blogging functionality and – if we (the users of toendaCMS) want – a base for a intern webmailer to check your emails. But i dont work on these webmail module at this time. Only the mail blogger is a feature for one of the next releases.
So, next the better website control module:
You know services like Blogcounter or software like mint? Information services and software to gain more control of your website and see statistics about users and guests. The amount of all site clicks, all unique clicks, browsersoftware and operating systems of your website guestsand many other data for your information. toendaCMS supports now this identity control with its own statistics module. It’s not so good as mint but we have now a good base to expand it’s functionality.
And the first step to a good workflow engine:
This means that i finished the first working version of the toendaCMS desktop with an overview of all not published news and documents and all unfinished documents.
For the future i have planned a cookie login to let a user loged in if he want it and a completly recode of the bad-ass guestbook with a better administration (yes, in the administration backend) and the sql database support.
Wie sie vielleicht sehen können sind hier in einigen meiner Einträge wieder? anstatt den richtigen Umlauten aufgetaucht. Das ist dadurch passiert, dass ich den Server gewechselt habe und nun meinen Weblog mit einer MySQL Datenbank führe. Beim importieren der Daten ist das ganze wohl in einen falschen Zeichensatz gerutscht und nun siehts blöde aus.
Schmerzhafter aber nötigerweise bearbeite ich nun alle Datensätze nacheinander ab um die ? mit den richtigen Umlauten wieder zu ersetzten.
Kann mir vielleicht irgendwer helfen und einen Weg nennen der schneller geht?

So oder so ähnlich beginnt der Bericht beim renomierten Sender. Das dies nicht der erste Bericht ist, weiss der Blogger heute schon, ARTE zeigte vor einiger Zeit den ersten. Darin kamen, wie bei ARTE gewohnt, eher die eisernen Blogger wie Johnny und Co. zur Sprache.
FocusTV geht bei seiner Sendung sehr auf den Bildblog und den bekannten Shopblogger ein und berichtet wie altägliches niedergeschrieben und gelesen wird.
Zudem wird mit dem Blogredakteur der Zeit nicht nur die Art, Zukunft und den Grund des Erfolgs der Weblogs erklärt, sondern auch die Bedeutung des Weblogs als Informationsquelle und Erlebnissventil in Katastrophengebieten sowohl für den Menschen ausserhalb und innerhalb des Gebietes.
I have finished the first steps n my server move. My vandango.org domain reloacates you to a temporarly domain on my new server and my weblog works now with a mySQL database. Furthermore i have updated a little bit my layout and the redesign progress is now at 87 percent.
Ok, in the next days i’ll set my old domain vandango.toenda.com to this site and the vandango.org domain relocates you to vandango.toenda.com. After 3 weeks, at 15. November, the vandango.org domain finish the server move.
