Never buy at Luxuriousity

Never buy at this company. I cannot believe what this company do. Thy sell open-source and free software products over eBay and their own website with a own name. No link to the developer of the software products, no source code, no link to a free download. Thats a massivly violation against the GNU/GPL license.
The unbelievables thing is that they put screenshots on their site, for example from The Gimp (their call it “Photo Professional”) and you can see the original name of the software (even The Gimp). This is a larger picture of a screenshot (you can see the name of the original product The Gimp in the picture name …).
- Luxuriousity cannot claim they developed the software
- Luxuriousity cannot remove copyrights, not from the splash screen nor from the user interface nor from the source codes
Never buy at this company!

Enlightenment DR17 Installer

I have written a Enlightenment DR17 (known under e17) installer in BASH Script. It loads e17 from the CVS as anonymous and configure, compile and install all packages and files.
It’ a first version in BASH Script to have a easier way to install my dayly e17 update. The next version will be written in C++. And some time later it can get a GUI with EDJE or so.
I know there are some other get-e17-installer scripts on this planet, but i write my own stuff rather then download it. Furthermore i will expand it and rewrite it in C++.
By the way. The toendaCMS SQL integration go on …

More SQL in toendaCMS

After some hours of work i’m closed this work-weekend with about 30% of SQL integration. The most things like the complete modules configuration files are hard-write work. Only the content modules News, Documents, Downloads, Products and the Imagegallery are more work. There are so many “read XML”-functions they want all to be encoded…

Starting Integration of toendaSQL Abstraction Layer

I have started the integration of my toendaSQL Abstraction Layer (called before: eCMS SQL Abstraction Layer). Currently only the news categories can load, save, create, update and delete from a mySQL database, a SQLite DBFile, a MSSQL database and a postgreSQL database. In the next time i want to integrate it more so that we have beside our XML database all PHP supported database’s too. With this feature toendaCMS goes a step more to be one of the BIG open source content management and/or weblogging systems like Mambo, Typo3, Nucleus or WordPress.
Enough worked today… must sleep now. Night
